MônFM Community Awards 2026: Nomination Terms & Conditions
By submitting a nomination for the MônFM Community Awards 2026, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility
The Awards are intended to recognise people, groups, organisations and businesses making a positive contribution to the communities served by MônFM.
Unless otherwise stated in the individual category criteria, nominees must live, work, volunteer, operate or make a significant contribution within MônFM’s licensed coverage area, principally Anglesey and the areas of Gwynedd served by MônFM.
Nominees must also meet any additional eligibility requirements stated for the category in which they are nominated.
2. Nominations
Nominations must be submitted using the official MônFM Community Awards nomination form before the published closing date and time.
Anyone may submit a nomination unless the individual category criteria state otherwise.
There is no charge to submit a nomination.
A person, group, organisation or business may receive more than one nomination. The number of nominations received will not influence the outcome of the Awards.
MônFM reserves the right to move a nomination to a more appropriate category where necessary.
3. Information Provided
Nominators must provide information that is accurate and truthful to the best of their knowledge.
Nominations should explain why the nominee meets the criteria for the relevant category and should relate primarily to achievements, contributions or activities during the eligibility period stated for that category.
MônFM may contact the nominator or nominee to clarify or verify information contained within a nomination.
MônFM reserves the right to reject nominations that are incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, offensive, defamatory or otherwise inappropriate.
4. Shortlisting and Judging
Eligible nominations may be reviewed and shortlisted before being considered by the judging panel.
Judges will consider nominations against the published criteria for the relevant category.
Judging will be based on the information submitted by the nomination deadline, together with any information subsequently requested by MônFM for clarification or verification.
The decision of the judging panel is final. MônFM will not enter into correspondence regarding individual judging decisions.
Where a judge has a conflict of interest relating to a nominee or category, they will not take part in judging that nomination where appropriate.
5. Nominees and Finalists
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that the nominee will be shortlisted or receive an award.
MônFM may contact nominees who are shortlisted to confirm their details, eligibility and willingness to participate in the Awards.
Shortlisted nominees may be invited to attend the MônFM Community Awards ceremony.
MônFM may withdraw a nomination or shortlist place if the nominee is subsequently found not to meet the eligibility criteria or if information provided as part of the nomination is found to be materially inaccurate.
6. Publicity and the Awards Ceremony
The MônFM Community Awards are a public event and may be broadcast, livestreamed, photographed, filmed or recorded.
The names of shortlisted nominees and winners may be announced on MônFM and published through MônFM’s website, social media, broadcasts and other Awards publicity.
Any specific permissions required for photographs, recordings, interviews or participation involving nominees will be dealt with as appropriate.
7. Under-18s
Where a category permits nominees under the age of 18, additional information or consent from a parent, guardian or responsible adult may be required before the nominee takes part in publicity or the Awards ceremony.
Any age requirement stated within an individual category will be assessed on the published closing date for nominations.
8. Data Protection
Personal information submitted as part of a nomination will be processed for the administration, judging and delivery of the MônFM Community Awards.
Information may be shared with judges and others involved in administering the Awards where necessary.

9. General
MônFM reserves the right to check the eligibility of any nomination and to request reasonable supporting information.
MônFM may disqualify a nomination where these terms, the relevant category criteria or the spirit of the Awards have not been followed.
MônFM reserves the right, where reasonably necessary, to amend the Awards timetable, categories, judging arrangements or event arrangements, or to withdraw a category where there are insufficient eligible nominations.
MônFM may update these terms where reasonably necessary for the proper administration of the Awards.
By submitting a nomination, the nominator confirms that they have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
